President Akufo-Addo yesterday, April 19, 2020, lifted the three weeks ban he placed on movement within the Accra and Kumasi Metropolis in the fight against COVID-19.

After the address to the nation, lives and businesses have returned to normal as shop owners and traders have already started to open their shops.

Commercial vehicles; taxis and trotros were also in full operation with vehicular traffic already building up in some areas.

At the Kaneshie market, FNN24.com is reporting that many traders had arrived at the market at dawn to trade. The pavements around the market as at 6:00 am had already been occupied by some traders who seated closely to each other.
