Award-winning Actress and TV personality, Regina Adu Safowaah has recalled how painful it was for her own father to throw her out of the house because of her step-mother.
Speaking to Ayesha Passah, host of “The A Show’ aired on Tumpaani Television, Regina Adu Safawaah opened up on all the hardships she has gone through to become the woman that she is now.
According to the now strong woman with beautiful, her own biological had thrown her out on the hard street to fend for herself when she was barely 17 years old.
“… My father threw me out on the street when I was only 17 years old, I had to fend for myself. It was really difficult time for me then,” she sadly reveals.
She mentioned that her step-mother had hand in it when the host quizzed her if her own parent threw out of the house.
“… my father and step-mother threw me out the house,” she hesitantly said.
But she is, however, thankful to God to become the woman that she is now in spite of the hardship and staying hungry for days.
Today, she has won many prestigious awards as an actress including; City People Entertainment Award for Best New Actress of the Year (Ghana).
