The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament (MPs) constituting the minority have humiliated Samira Bawumia after they chanted “We want Ramatu”.
During President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation address to Parliament on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, the minority did everything to interrupt the event.
Notably, during the acknowledgment of the Vice President, Dr. Mahammadu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, the NDC chanted the name of Dr. Bawumia’s first wife.
They chanted ‘we want Ramatu, we want Ramatu’ as they shamed the second lady, Samira Bawumia.
It, however, took the Speaker, Alban Bagbin to instill order. He said ‘I don’t know which of your girlfriends is called Ramatu’
Meanwhile, the NDC members of Parliament on not recognizing Samira Bawumia as the legit wife of Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
