A group of Ewe women have reacted to a publication that a Fante mother stopped her daughter from marrying her boyfriend on grounds that he is an Ewe man.
The news which was published by FNN24.com detailed that the young lady and her boyfriend dated for close to five (5) years and just when they decided to tie the knot, the lady’s mother stopped the marriage with a tribal excuse that man is an Ewe man.
The discrimination meted on this innocent man whose mistake was to fall in love with a Fante lady has attracted an equal reaction of some group of Ewe women.
According to Newton’s Third Law of Motion;
These angry Ewe women have also vowed to stop their son from marrying Fante ladies quoting that to every action, there is an equal reaction.
They said;
“… We will also advise our sons not to marry their daughters. How could a mother stop her daughter’s marriage because the boyfriend is an Ewe man.”
“This is discrimination and tribal induced.”
