2020 Elections: Lydia Alhassan Defeats John Dumelo

Incumbent Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Alhassan has beaten John Dumelo to retain the seat for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to the provisional results available to www.Fnn24.com, Maa Lydia has won the majority of the total valid votes were counted at the University of Ghana Business School.

The election results revealed that Lydia Alhassan secured a total of 39,851 votes while National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate John Dumelo had 37,778 votes.

Meanwhile, John Dumelo is yet to concede defeat.
