The mother of the late 25-year-old lady allegedly killed by her boyfriend in Ho in the Volta region has revealed that the two started dating when they were in Junior high school (JHS).
According to Linda Gbologa, she was unaware that the two upper secondary school (SHS) graduates who have been dating for six years weren’t on good terms.
Harriet Kafui Ahiati’s mother said that initially, her family and Jay Dordorye’s family did not agree on the relationship and did everything possible to separate them.

She later allowed the two love birds to continue the bond because they would not give in to attempts to separate them.
The 43-year-old woman further noted that she was not present when the incident occurred, but she received a call from someone asking where she was on Wednesday morning.
“I replied that I was out of town and when I got home I saw my daughter in a pool of blood. I couldn’t do anything but cry while the police comforted me and the body was taken away, ” she said.
