Popular Ghanaian actress, Christiana Awuni has threatened to stop acting in movies if Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey refuses to apologize for her unguided comment.
Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has been on record to have insulted all actors and actresses in Ghana over her ‘silly’ comment to John Dumelo.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs jabbed him during a campaign rally that a parliament house is a place for business-minded people and not ordinary people like movie actors or celebrities.
Her comment has been seen as an insult to Ghanaian actors and actresses inciting those movie personalities do not qualify to go to parliament.
Against this background, there been several calls by prominent Ghanaians to Hon. Shirley Oyorkor Bocthwey to render an apology to the entertainers.
Christiana Awuni is the latest to join the call for the MP for Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency to them now. The actress, thus, has threatened to stop acting in movies if Madam Bocthwey refuses to apologize.
