Akufo-Addo bribe video is fake and misleading – Facebook fact-checkers

The trending video indicating that President Akufo-Addo received a $40,000 bribe in an envelope has been declared as fake and be disregarded.

According to a Facebook Fact-Checking organization known as Dubawa, the purported video has no basis of fact, hence, misleading to the public.

The fact-checking organization which works closely with Facebook to clamp down on fake news has also blocked the supposed video from being viewed.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who claimed the video is authentic has insisted that Akufo-Addo took the bribe.
