The Flagbearer and leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), H.E. John Dramani Mahama has suspended his campaign tour in the Bono Region.
In a Facebook post sighted by Fnn24.com, the former President pointed out that he is cutting short his campaign tour in the region to enable him to return to Accra to get the full facts about the anomalies and malpractices by the Electoral Commission during the ongoing voter register exhibition exercise.
According to him, there are reports of wrongful removal of names from the register in NDC strongholds and printing of new voter ID cards by the EC District offices in parts of Accra.
He added that he would be tackling all these challenges in a press conference as soon as he arrives in Accra.
