Some concerned residents in the Volta Region have served strong warnings to persons in the lockdown areas not to run and escape to Ho for fear of spreading the virus.
In an interview with Fnn24.com, these concerned persons expressed worry over the possible transfer of vertical infections in the region as they fear many could travel to other regions.
They stated clearly that they will not entertain anyone coming from the lockdown areas mainly, Accra, Tema, Kasoa and Kumasi whatsoever.
They stressed;
“… Corona virus is real and we will not entertain persons escaping from lockdown areas in our region. Whether they are family members or friends, we will not welcome them. Our message is simple, don’t run to Volta region”.
