Founder of Danquah Institute and cousin to President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, Gabby Otchere-Darko has taken yet another swipe at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC); saying NDC as a political party is deprived of ideas.
Gabby’s outburst came following an announcement by the NDC that a demonstration will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2020, to demand the termination of the controversial Agyapa Royalties deal.
According to the Asaase Radio boss, NDC lacks ideas and as a result, they are trying to use Agyapa to stay relevant and safe what he describes as “featureless campaign” of the NDC.
“NDC is so bereft of ideas and a message that they think focusing on Agyapa is what might save their featureless campaign,” he stated in a tweet sighted by GhanaVanguard.com.
Gabby who seems perturbed about the planned December 2 demonstration wonders why the NDC will go for a demonstration if they are sure of winning the general elections with majority in Parliament that will have the power to abrogate the deal.
“Why demonstrate now if you’re sure to win 2020 with majority in Parliament to cancel it?” Gabby quizzes.
