A Graphic Online publication reveals that a female student at Gushegu Senior High School (SHS) in the Northern Region has delivered while writing her final exams.
Per the report, the female student gave birth to a baby boy Monday morning, September 13, 2021, while writing the English Language paper in the ongoing West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The report added that the student whose name has been withheld, returned shortly to continue writing the exams after delivery.
One of the tutors in the school confirmed that news to Graphic Online adding that the young lady went into labour at 10:00 am while writing her English Language paper.
The tutor, however, said this was the first time the school has recorded such an incident during the WASSCE.
