Ghanaian broadcast Journalist, Serwaa Amihere has expressed some disappointments in President Akufo-Addo’s 23rd address to the nation.
President Akufo-Addo in his 23rd address to the nation on Sunday, January 31, 2021, has placed restrictions on social gatherings such as weddings, parties, and concerts.
The restriction according to the president is one of the measures to help curb the spread of the COVID-19 since Ghanaians have refused to adhere to the safety protocols.
However, unhappy Serwaa Amihere in a Twitter post questioned why Akufo-Addo would place a ban on the large gatherings but exclude churches and mosques.
In her tweet, she asked if Churches and Mosques are not large gathering?
she tweeted;
“We’re are banning large gatherings but allowing churches and mosques? Are they not large gatherings too?”
