Blackmailing Someone Is A Sin Against God – Bishop Dag Heward Mills

The founder and presiding Bishop of the Lighthouse Group Of Churches formerly known as the Lighthouse Chapel International, Dag Heward Mills has described blackmailing as a sin against God.

The renowned Televangelist in a Social Media post sighted by Fnn24.com stressed that it is a great sin to intimidate other people by threatening or blackmailing them with the information you have about them.

Bishop Dag Heward Mills argued that it is not a man’s job to expose the weakness of another man because the Lord knows the secrets and the secret sins of His servants.

Read his full post below;

“It is a sin to intimidate someone by threatening or blackmailing them with information that you have about them. It is a sin in the eyes of God. The Lord knows the secrets and the secret sins of His servants. David, the sweet psalmist, would pray about his secret sins.
“Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance”
Psalm 90:8
Our sins are with the Lord and He knows what He is going to do with us. He is the judge and we stand or fall before Him.
It is wickedness to take advantage of someone because you saw him in his weakness.”
