A fast-rising Somanya based Dangme musician, Abilonzy born Abigal Akumatey has been nominated in three categories on the 2020 Dangme Music Awards.
The “Yayo De” hitmaker has been nominated for Hip Life Artiste of the Year, Hip Life Song of the Year, and Best Video of the Year.
Abilonzy songs like “Yayo De” – My Mother Told (Cautioned ) Me; Fruits and Vegetables; and Dede Yomor.
Speaking to Awake News, Abilonzy said she feels honored for the nomination as it is a great symbol that her music is being noticed and appreciated by her fans and the people of GaDangme Land.
She has since urged the public to vote for her using the shortcode *447*661* and her respective nomination category codes DM271 for Hip Life Artiste of the Year; DM52 for Hip Life Song of the Year and DM178 for Best Video of the Year.
