Felix Kwakye Ofosu Suffers Defeat In Abura Asebu Kwamankese Contest

Felix Kwakye Ofosu has suffered defeat in his bid to be elected as the Member of Parliament for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress(NDC).

According to information available to www.Fnn24.com, the incumbent Member of Parliament, Elvis Morris Donkoh has retained the seat for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The election results revealed that Felix Kwakye Ofosu pulled 24,872 votes representing 48.84% while the incumbent Member of Parliament garnered 25,048 representing 49.19% of votes cast.

Meanwhile, the former Deputy Minister of Communications in Facebook has conceded defeat and congratulated his contender delighted.

He shared;

It was so close yet so far for me. I lost by 176 votes. Congratulations Elvis Morris Donkor and better luck to me next time. I am also deeply grateful to all of you out there who supported my bid in diverse ways.”
