Breaking News: Former Education Minister Lee Ocran Has Died

Sources within the Western Regional leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) confirmed the sad development to the media.

Lee Ocran who was also a former High Commissioner to South Africa according to the sources died on Thursday night at his residence in Accra.

A National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart, Mr Ocran was said to have taken ill days earlier, leading to his passing away, although the exact ailment is yet to be known.

About Lee Ocran

Ocran was appointed Minister by President John Atta Mills in February 2012 after a cabinet reshuffle following the resignation of Betty Mould-Iddrisu from government and the sacking of Martin Amidu.
