Bernard Antwi-Boasiako known in political circles as Chairman Wontumi has alleged that John Mahama is broke and needs some money.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) mocked that ‘broke’ Mahama would gladly withdraw the ongoing election petition at the Supreme Court should he be given some money.
Chairman Wontumi, however, failed to mention the substantial amount of money he thinks Mahama should be given to withdraw the election petition.
He alleged;
“… with Mahama, what I know is that if he has an issue with you at the Supreme Court and you find some money for him, he will take the money and settle the case out of court”.
Chairman Wontumi’s comment has suggested that former President John Dramani Mahama might be facing some financial challenges.
