Professor Kenneth Agyeman Attafuah led National Identification Authority (NIA) has failed to live by its words once again.
The nationwide Ghana Card issuance which was supposed to commence, Monday, June 8, 2020, has been rescheduled a second time.
In a newly released press statement directed to all the District Registration Officers sighted has revealed a new commencement date.
According to the statement, the new date for the commencement of the nationwide Ghana card issuance is Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

From: Head of Operations, NIA
Subject: Update on the Commencement of Card Issuance Exercise.
This is to reschedule the card Issuance exercise to begin from Wed 10th June 2020; following a careful review of preparations towards the Mon 8/6/2020 start of the Card Issuance Exercise.
NIA will endeavor to provide the required resources to start the exercise on the new date.
DROs and DRSs are however required to continue with your preparations towards this exercise.
Further directives and updates will be provided to ensure a smooth exercise from tommorrow.
Apart from the change in the start date, all directives issued earlier remain valid and will be reinforced.
