A Nigerian man has stabbed another man to death just over a mere suspicion that he was sleeping with his wife.
The 30-year-old man identified as Johnson Samuel has been apprehended by Police in Adamawa State for the alleged murder of one Yaji Lawal.
According to media reports in Nigeria, Johnson Samuel reportedly stabbed 57-year-old Yaji Lawal to de@th upon the suspicion that he is having an affair with his wife.
Confirming the news, the Police Command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje indicated that the suspect who is a resident of Bandasarga village, Ganye LGA, returned home on April 4, around 11 pm and met Yaji Lawal in his house.
Upon his arrival and suspicion that the victim having affair with his wife, out of anger, and jealousy got hold of a knife and allegedly stabbed Yaji Lawal to de@th.
Johnson Samuel is in police custody to assist in the investigation and possibly face trial in the court of law.
