Popular TV show host Kweku Sintim Misa aka KSM has asked what could be motivating our lawyers and judges to be wearing what he describes as “Sickly Clownish Ugly Blonde Wigs”
According to him in a Twitter post, the wig worn by judges and lawyers in tropical weather like ours only makes them look like a cartoon. He admonished it’s 2021 hence such old fashion ethics should be kept in the Dustbin.
There were those who believed he had a legit point while others also believe it is part of the profession just as doctors still move with stethoscope even with the invention of other medical equipment, it’s only natural that lawyers as judges put on these wigs to distinguish them from those who are not practicing as lawyers or judges when there’s a court sitting.
When will the GBA outlaw this sickly, clownish and ugly BLONDE WIGS? I am sorry, it makes you look like CARTOONS. Let’s get real please. Its 2021 for crying out loud. 😢
