Beyonce features Shatta Wale on ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album

Top American singer and song-writer, Beyonce, has featured Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale on her ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ Album.

Beyonce through Walt Disney revealed that “The album will feature a number of global recording artists and “steeped in the sounds of Africa”.

The statement furthered revealed that the album will be released on July 19, 2019 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records along with the live-action film, which features Bey as Nala.

Other African musicians featured on the album include; Tekno, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Mr. Eazi.
