A team of officers from the Ghana Police Service has arrested the Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Odododiodoo Constituency, Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye.
According to 3news.com publication, the Member of Parliament was whisked away in connection with a shooting incident that occurred.
Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has been taken to the Central Police Station had earlier made a complaint that some police officers attacked him in his hotel room.
He, however briefed Journalists;
“I have been attacked by Policemen in my hotel room. They threw tear gas into my room to force us to open the door by I won’t open the door to them.”
