Live Update: Akufo-Addo Projected Winner Of Ghana’s 2020 Election

Incumbent President, Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo-Addo has been projected the winner of the Presidential race at the just ended December 7 polls.

Ghana went to the polls for both the presidential and parliamentary elections Monday, December 7, 2020.

The provisional election results being obtained by www.Fnn24.com have put President Akufo-Addo ahead of former president John Mahama.

President Akufo-Addo pulled (4,179,901) representing 50.32% while John Mahama (4,073,421) representing 49.04%.

This means that President Akufo-Addo has retained the presidential seat, thus, going to be President for the next four years.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission (EC) has revealed in a press statement that it will announce the certified results by 5:00 pm today, Tuesday, December 7, 2020.
