Rev Owusu Bempah to re-appear in court today

Popular preacher, reverend Owusu Bempah is scheduled to re-appear before the Accra Circuit Court today, September 20, 2021.

The Circuit Court presided by Her Honour Afia Owusuaa Appiah had earlier denied him, and three others, bail and remanded them into police custody on Monday, September 13.

However, lawyers for the man of God proceeded to the High Court on Wednesday, September 15 and secured the bail at GH¢200,000 with two sureties.

Judge Afia Owusuaa Appiah will determine the fate of Apostle Owusu Bempah regarding the charges preferred against him by the police.

Apostle Owusu Bempah is facing charges of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, the threat of death, and assault of office public officers.

He was arrested and handcuffed by the Police on Sunday, September 12.
