The Ghana Police Service has publicly come out to denied rumours that the three girls who were kidnapped in Takoradi have been found.
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, sighted by Fnnewsroom.com, the Police urged Ghanaians to disregard publication by Daily Guide edition of Wednesday, April 24, 2019, that girls have been found and receiving treatment.

The three kidnapped girls went missing late last year, and there has been a lot of back-and-forth between the police and families.
