Ghana Elections: Abu Jinapor wins Damongo Constituency

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Abu Jinapor has won the Damongo Constituency of the Savannah Region for his party.

The Deputy Chief of Staff at the Presidency unseats the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP, Hon. Adam Mutawakilu.

Abu Jinapor massively pulled 15,671 votes to defeat Adam Mutawakilu who polled 13,330 votes while an independent candidate David Tiki Dange polled 296 votes.

The Damango Constituency recorded a total of 29,150 valid votes cast in the Parliamentary election with 499 rejected ballots
